Ken Cornell

As a small business owner, Ken has had the opportunity to own and operate a number of small businesses in Alachua County. Ken was trained as a Certified Public Accountant and is currently a Broker-Associate and Senior Vice President with Bosshardt Realty Services, LLC.
Commissioner Cornell was elected to the Alachua County Commission in November 2014 and was recently re-elected in 2018 unopposed. Ken’s record of involvement in Alachua County includes serving on the CAPP (Community Agency Partnership Program) citizen’s advisory board, the Chamber of Commerce public policy board, and various other private and non-profit organization boards. He’s a Rotarian and a graduate of ACCESS, and will bring his record of caring about and improving our community to the County Commission.
Ken likes to travel with his family, when he is not kayaking, reading, exercising, or spending time with his four rescue pets – JJ, Jessie, Sassy and Scrabbles.
